2019

In 2019 I dove into acrylic painting. This was the year I first started calling myself a professional artist. I worked 30 hours a week as an assistant at Copper Corners Art and another 30 hours per week painting at my home studio. Inspiration came in the form of roadways, mouths, water and color experimentation. Roadways and mouths abstractly represent the way human beings connect with the world. They are both routes for consumption and self-expression. Ways that we navigate reality.
